Welcome back to Rakhi Ka Swayamvar folks!. This is Day 4, 02-july-2009 episode.

The Three invited guest on the Rakhi Ka Swayamvar were the following.
Mr. Deepak Singh (Dancer and Chorogropher)
Mr. Raja Hasan (Singer)
Mr. Hiten Tejwani (Actor)

The contestants were given the choice of choosing either of dancing, singing or acting and was associated with the corresponding expert amongst the guest. Later in the day they were asked to give a short performance of whatever they have learned from either of the expert they have chosen. Based on the performances, odd one was picked and showed the door.

# Kripal and Pranav choose 'Acting' and hence stayed with Hiten.
# Parvez, Manmohan, Ashwin, Kapil choose Singing as their and Raja as their master.
# Chittez, Manas, Luv, Ali, Raman, Athirek and Eilesh picked Dancing and Deepak.

In the end Ali Bana was asked to pack his baggage and leave.

Rakhi ka Swayamvar: Day 3

Back to Rakhi Ka Swayamvar folks. Before i dig into it one question How did you find the new look of website? Pour in suggestions in comments, if you care.

As you all know the show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar will be held at Fateh Garh Palace, Udaipur. Wonderful location i guess (i never got a chance to visit Udaipur and missed this one as well, kekekkeekkee). Anyways, so whats up on the show. The 16 shortlisted young blokes are dying to meet Rakhi i reckon. Each on of them has come with some unique gift for her. On Day 3 of the show (01-July-2009) Mr. overweight (i mean Ram kapoor) asked the participants to pen down a "Love Letter" for Rakhi, who ever writes the best letter will get a chance to spend some time with her.

Everyone writes a letter hiding from everyone else (not to show to anyone, remember our class 3rd exam, as if what bloody secret they were writing) anyways once they were done with that Mr. Motu (i'm sorry Ram kapoor i mean) gives the show a slight twist and ask them to read their respective letters in public and call upon Rakhi Sawant as well. Atirek "the controversy guy" gets pissed off with this idea of reading his love letter in public but was convinced by the fatty guy (I'm so sorry Ram Kapoor i mean) who even called upon him to read his letter first.

Anyways, Manmohan (from Rishikesh) cracked the jack pot of having dinner with Rakhi Sawant and Ashwin Chaudhari (form Nagpur) was invited to have coffee with Rakhi. Manmohan's case was understandable he did a decent love letter job. However with Ashwin, i think Mr. Cylinder might have insisted Rakhi to have coffee with him and return his favour(Ashwin actually preferred coming to Rakhi's show rather than attending his real sister's marriage, what a looser).

Both Manmohan and Rakhi had good time together. This guy seems good. He knows how to talk. Rakhi seems to be impressed by him a little bit. That's all for now folks!. Take kare and Hip Hip Hurray to Rakhi Ka Swayamvar.

Here's a list of all the finalist chosen to participate on the show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar.

Hails from Rishikesh. Advocate and Actor by profession (An Advocate has to be an actor no doubt about that)

Hails from Mumbai. Stunt-man by Profession.

(3) Rishi Dwivedi

Hails from Lucknow. He is an actor by profession.

(4) Luv Khanna

Hails from New Delhi, He is an Engineering graduate (obviously from some private college, kekekke) and Model. Gud looking guy!. Rakhi fell for him the very first day of the show.

(5) Kapil Mathur

Hails from Jaipur. Used to work as Marketing Manager in India Bulls retail services. Kicked off his job (in the time of recession..... WOW) for participating in Rakhi Ka Swayamvar.

(6) Deepak Raghav

Hails from Bulandshahr. Good looking Macho Man (pumped up with muscle), charming smile.

(7) Chittiiz Jain

Hail from New Delhi. To be precise from Panchsheel, South Ext., New Delhi, this is what he said when asked by Ravi Kishan: described his entire address, dumbo. I can't understand how people can brag about being born and brought up in Delhi (Grow up).

(8) Manas Katyal

Hails from New Delhi has shifted to Lokhandwala, Mumbai. He is an Event Producer by Profession. He seems to be 'Mast' guy.

(9) Ali Bana

Hails from Mumbai. Choreographer by profession.

(10) Ashwin Chaudhari

Hails from Nagpur. He is a Marriage Consultant by Profession (Whom did he consult to come on the show...). The rebellious personality in the group i'll say, you see guys around you who are ready to bang themselves to anything and anyone who is not of their type. No compromises, If it has to be there it should of my type or else NOT: type of personality.

Hails from Srinagar. A police officer by profession. Decent guy, Gud luck bro...

(12) Raman Handa

Hails from Saharanpur and has shifted to Mumbai. He is an Astrologer and Vastu consultant as well as Interior Decorator.

(13) Pranav Damle

Hails from Mumbai. He is an Engineer by profession. Banking on the Marathi opportunity. I'm Marathi you a Marathi lets marry with merry type guy.

(14) Aman Talwar

Haryana man.

(15) Elesh Parujanwala

Hails from Toronto, Canada. He is a businessman by profession. What business God Knows.

(16) Atirek Sharma

Hails from Kanpur. The controversy guy. Always pissed off with something or the other. Guys like them adds flavor to the otherwise not so happening proceedings. This guy will remain untill the penultimate show, i tell'ya folks. It won't surprize me if the producer of the show "Rakhi Ka Swayamwar" bribe Rakhi not to kick him out in any case. He is the real TRP guy, kekekek.

Rakhi Sawant Ka Swayamvar: Day 2

Guys and Gals, Welcome back to Rakhi Sawant Ka Swayamvar Day 2 update (30th-June-2009 Ravi Kishan).

Ram kapoor (why don't anyone asks him to loose some weight) introduces Mr. Ravi Kishan to everyone as Rakhi's elder Brother. No one new that he will be coming not even Rakhi Sawant. It surprized (sur to paaon) everyone. Anyways, he was there to help Rakhi to get one guy packing home. He had a list of questions that he asked the contestants to filter chaff from wheat (Ravi was talking too much, NDTV paid him extra to talk more i reckon). In the end 3 guys were showed the door.

Rakhi Ka Swayamvar: Dinner with Manmohan

Welcome back to Rakhi ka Swayamvar. One of the contestant Manmohan Tiwari from Rishikesh seems to be have broken away from the heard with his "manmohini" and innovative love letter he compiled for her. He was chosen by Ms. Sawant as the best love letterisssstttt. Remember the Day 3 (1st-july episode) Rakhi Ka Swayamvar: Day 3 . Ms. Sawant in return gifted him some roses (which her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi is gardening for her these days in her backyard, heheheeh) and accepted an invitation for dinner.

Manmohan must be on cloud nine i reckon. Though it was a good opportunity for Manmohan to win her over God knows how well he capitalized on it. For Rakhi Sawant it was obviously a chance to probe him a bit more, which she would have definitely done i suppose.

Anyways both had pure vegi meal as Mr. Tiwari is anti-maasmachi unlike Ms. Sawant who savor on non-veg. Rakhi showed some modesty (which she rarely does kekkeekke) ordering vegetarian meal and both enjoyed a quality time (only dinner, you dirty mind).

Rakhi Ka Swayamvar: Ram Kapoor as an Anchor

Rakhi Sawant Swayamvar welcomes you again. The latest update circulating around this upcoming TV show is of Ram Kapoor being the host. For those who are unaware of who he is, Ram Kapoor is a popular TV icon who became a household name (only amongst ladies) after his epic role of Jai Walia in recently concluded TV serial Kasam Se. He was also seen in the Jhalak dikhlaja-3, a reality TV dance competition from where he was quickly showed the door because of his inflexible and pathetic dancing (owing to his overweight structure perhaps). Since the TV soap opera Kasam Se, Rakhi Ka Swayamvar will be Ram's fresh assignment and he seems to be excited about his role "I have never been more excited about being a part of a show in my entire career as I am about being part of Rakhi’s Swayamvar. I’ve known Rakhi for many years and we are friends, so I have a fair idea of the kind of guy she is looking for. I am sure I will be able to help her find Mr. Right and I’m glad that I am going to be a part of this beautiful journey", said Mr. Kapoor. It has been known that Ram will act as her friend and will act as her adviser as well along with the responsibility of anchoring the show.

Rakhi Ka Swayamvar which will kick start by the end of June 2009 is highly anticipated amongst Indian masses. Rakhi Sawant Swayamvar a reality TV show coming very soon on NDTV imagine. This show is one of its kind and never before in the history of Television show a marriage is finalised. But with Rakhi sawant you can expect the unexpected.

The Bollywood Galmour girl who is known for her sizzling item numbers is all set to marry live on Television with whole of India watching as she picks her Groom. Swayamvar is an traditional Hindu marriage ceremony which is obsolete in modern times. This system of marriage was followed up until Medival period possibly when the royal Kings-ly families of India were to marry their daughter. The princes used to pick her Groom from amongst several Royal price invited by the Groom father from all over India. However such a traditional method of marriage is no more to be scene in Indian society now.

It is known that Ms. Rakhi Sawant approached NDTV imagine to host such a show wishing to pick her groom from all over India. She is believed to have said that she has become a celebrity just because of these TV reality shows then why not to use one of them to decide on her life partner. For this show which will be aired on NDTV imagine, India (exact time and date is still unknown) over 12,000 applicants registerd from all over India and around 15 were screened who will contest each other to make way to the finals where Rakhi Sawant will accept him as her life partner. Applicants (Groom) have come from all over India, with major chunk coming from Delhi (16%), U.P(14%), Gujarat and Rajasthan (11% each), Maharashtra (17%) and rest of India (30%).

During approximately 3 months period all the applicants will live together under one roof and will be judged by Rakhi on various attributes. She may meet the families and friends of the contestants later in the show. Ms. Sawant is not hesitant in taking such a route to pick her life partner. It is known to commons in India that she has already broken with her long time boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi and is all set to pick one from all over India this time. She has brushed away the arguments that she is doing Rakhi Sawant Swayamvar as a public stunt, arguing that such acts are done be others mentioning Karina who publicized her size "Zero" funda and other Bollywood celebrities who walk on ramp and get her jeans unbuttoned by their wife, they are the ones who publicize themselves she on the other hand is for a serious business out here, marriage for her is a serious affair she pointed out.

Ms. Sawant in a recent interview, chuckles while mentioning that she won't mind if personalitis like Rahul Gandhi (Congress party General Secretary) and bachelor cricket stars like M. S. Dhoni and Yuvraj Sing approach her. Though she hasn't taken her mother into confidence but thinks, will be able to convince her once the show is about to be aired (it is well known that she doesn't go well with her father). She is believed to be looking for a all-perfect man which seems to be hard to find but she and NDTV imagine crew might have gone through tough audition process to finalise top 15. Ms. Sawant (until Rakhi Ka Swayamvar) whenever approached by media had been reluctant with the idea of getting married but she feels the need of a life partner now. She wants a passionate and trusting life partner to spend the life with, will she be able to find on through this show only time will tell. We hope good for her and wish her gud luck in her pursuit.

Rakhi Sawant is a glamorous, charismatic, sizzling and bold Bollywood icon and Indian TV star. She is known for her hot item numbers, that she has performed in numerous Bollywood movies as well as in some Tamil and Telugu movies. Indian mass and Bollywood fraternity tagg her as the No. 1 item girl, for doing hot dance numbers which other actresses are reluctant to do. She is a charismatic Bollywood figure well known for her bold and outspoken character. Rakhi Sawant has also started taking acting seriously of late. She has done lead roles in some recent Bollywood movies like, Masti, Main Hoon Na, Joru Ka Ghulam amongst few others. She also hosted a TV talk show.

Rakhi Sawant was born in Nov. 1978 in Mumbai. She has done her schooling and Graduation from Mumbai and was offered an item number song in Joru Ka Ghulam opposite Govinda when she was still school. This marked a breakthrough for her in Bollywood. However, Rakhi's father who is ACP in Mumbai police was always against her wish to pursue carrier in Bollywood. In fact now her father doesn't even live with her because she opted for this profession, however rest of her family doesn't seem to mind this. Her mother lives with her and her brother is also trying his hands in Bollywood. He has recently directed one movie with Rakhi as a lead actress. Her sister has also acted in few films.

Rakhi recently broke-off with her boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi, it's the other way round rather. I should rephrase that, Rakhi's long time boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi broko off with her, after the couple had some misunderstanding. Abhishek though has his own TV carrier (he is working in a TV serial Tony and Deya Singh's 'Jugni Chali Jalandhar') was often thought to be her manager. So it seems after parting with her boyfriend Rakhi Sawant is looking for a life partner on TV on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, not a bad idea though. Let's see who she gets (iff she gets).

Rakhi Sawant Swayamvar is creating lot of hype throughout India and why not, Rakhi is one of the most dynamic and always-in-news Bollywood personalities.

After rocking Bollywood with her numerous masala dance numbers over years she has already set the stage with her rocking "Swayamvar" show on national television. The reality TV show "Rakhi Ka Swayamvar" will host 20 eligible bachelors dying to win Rakhi's heart, one of whom will be picked up by Rakhi as her would be hubby. The show is televised on NDTV imagine and is likely to last over 3 months, around this time the contestants will be judged by Rakhi on various physical and personal attributes. Ms. Rakhi Sawant is supposedly looking for Mr. perfect in ever-sense. In one of her recent interview she was literally counting the chemical properties of her would be hubby. She is after a man who should be sturdy like Salman, charming like Aamir, intelligent like Late Dhirubhai Ambani and the list was endless. During the course of 3 months Rakhi will judge the 20 contestant on various aspects, she judge are essential to be chief traits in her groom. She might even meet the family members of these contestants and friends and colleagues as well but this might come sometime later in the show. It is actually Rakhi who approached NDTV team rather then the other way round as was previously perceived. Rakhi thinks that every women has the right to choose her Groom and she did not wanted to miss this opportunity. On being asked if she is doing all this as a publicity stunt she said that marriage is very serious issue for her and there is no publicity thing in it. According to her if Kareena kapoor can set the tred of size 'Zero' then why can't she set the trend for Swayamvar. She insist that there is nothing like publicity in this its matter of her life and she didn't wanted to miss this chance. However she pointed out that she is not ready to accept anyone from film industry. Maybe, she is after a pola-pala bacha whom she can tame according to her will. Her outgoing and head strong character is already known to Indian masses, however this move of getting married on rality TV show might have surprised many if not all.

The participants are all raring to go with everyone coming up with his own trick to impress and win heart of Rakhi the queen. Some contestants rumored to have lost over 10 kgs. to get in shape. It is still not evident if the show "Rakhi ka Swayamvar" will hit the top of the TRP charts. The sponsors are weighing in on Rakhi Sawant crowed pulling capability. Only time will tell how well this new concept of Swayamvar TV series will pull up and can Ms. Rakhi Sawant will meet her Mr. perfect, fingers crossed.
